Building on our expertise in medical tubing, Nordson MEDICAL has full capabilities to design and manufacture high-performance reinforced catheter tubing. Reinforced catheter tubing is ideal for medical device applications that require strength, stiffness, torque, kink resistance, and compression resistance.
We have the reinforced tubing to meet your needs:
- Thin-wall polyimide tubing: can be blended, braided, or layered with multiple polymers to get the performance characteristics your application requires
- Polymer solution cast tubing: which allows varying wall thicknesses and diameters along the length of the device in a single-piece construction, while maintaining tight tolerances
- High-pressure braid-reinforced tubing: a polyurethane tubing reinforced with polymer monofilament that can be utilized for various applications including high pressure transmission of contrast media into the vascular system
