Animal derivatives in polymers originate from two main sources: materials compounded into the raw material itself, or external processing aids used by the molder. Following is Nordson MEDICAL's position on both sources.
- Nordson MEDICAL uses no processing aids whatsoever in manufacturing any of its products.
- Nordson MEDICAL makes no claims whatsoever about the material content of any of the plastic resins it manufactures.
- Nordson MEDICAL warrants that the material content of any of its parts corresponds only to the resin identified, and that nothing additional has been added to the material.
