Nordson MEDICAL's Value Plastics line of fluid management components was founded in 1968 in Colorado and continues to design, manufacture, and distribute products from that location. We also manufacture certain products at our facility in Mexico.
Yes. To protect our designs and our customers, it is important to be aware of the patents and trademarks that apply to our products. Look for the VP logo to ensure you do not mistakenly use a poor quality counterfeit, thereby jeopardizing the integrity and quality of your product. Many attributes of our components are covered by patent, including but not limited to, barb, grips, function and other design features. Nordson MEDICAL luer tapers are made to the ISO 594-1 standard, and may be connected to other luers meeting ISO standards. Please test your application to verify the performance of the interconnection.

All products manufactured by Nordson MEDICAL are manufactured from 100% virgin raw materials and colorants. No mold release or other additives are used under any circumstances.

Many of our resins are USP Classification VI. Reference our list of resin properties. Note: Only the resins meet USP Class VI. The products are not tested.
Nordson MEDICAL doesn't publish an expiration date for any of its products. As long as the products are stored out of direct sunlight or another source of UV radiation, the shelf life is indefinite. Exceptions are made for products incorporating elastomers such as o-rings in the BPA, BPF and XQC Series products; in those products, product life is governed by the life of the o-ring, generally 10 years.
Product changes are made at the sole discretion of Nordson MEDICAL and are controlled by Nordson MEDICAL's Engineering Change Order system. Notification is by email only to all customers that have purchased an affected product in the previous 24 months, followed by posting on the Nordson MEDICAL website. No action by the customer is required to receive notifications on any product(s) purchased from Nordson MEDICAL.

Nordson MEDICAL has several barb designs, including our classic, 200, 400, 500 and 900 series barbs. For information on selecting which style is right for your application, please visit our barb style information page.
Orders placed with the Customer Service department have a $100 order minimum. Orders placed through our website do not have a dollar minimum. However the order is placed, most of our components are available in 100 piece minimums, and in multiples of 100 pieces thereafter. Different minimums may apply to certain parts. You may contact the Inside Sales department at FMF-sales@nordsonmedical.com to verify the minimum purchase quantity of any specific parts.
Orders may be charged to your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, paid by wire transfer or paid by check. If prepaying by check, please mail a copy of your purchase order with the check to Nordson MEDICAL.

Yes. Check payments must be drawn from a United States bank account, denominated in USD($). Wire Transfer payments are subject to additional banking fees. Shipping methods for export orders are UPS International, Federal Express, DHL, or USPS Global Express Mail. To charge the freight, duty and VAT billing to your own account, please provide your own UPS, Fed Ex or DHL account number upon order placement.
Domestic orders are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise requested at the time of order. Shipping charges are prepaid and added to all orders. Or, shipping charges will not be added if you provide your own UPS, Fed Ex or DHL account number upon order placement. International shipping methods are UPS, Fed Ex, DHL or USPS Global Priority Mail. To charge the freight, duty and VAT billing to your own account, please provide your own UPS, Fed Ex or DHL account number upon order placement. International shipping methods are UPS International Federal Express, DHL, or USPS Global Express Mail. For UPS, Federal Express, or DHL shipments, please provide an account number for freight, duty and VAT billing.
We assure full traceability of products manufactured by Nordson MEDICAL. Product Certification is automatic and need not be requested at order placement.
Yes. We warrant products manufactured by Nordson MEDICAL and meeting seller specifications and criteria. If our products do not meet these criteria, we will replace or repair the defective products as long as they are returned to Nordson MEDICAL within 60 days of the invoice date. Please contact Customer Service before any product is returned to Nordson MEDICAL. No warranty of merchantability or of fitness or any other warranty is expressed or implied. Nordson MEDICAL is not liable for consequential or other damages, or for any expense incurred through the use of our products. Nordson MEDICAL parts are not intended for human implantation or for use in aircraft applications. Customers are encouraged to request free samples for testing and evaluation.
Customer Service is available to accept telephone orders at 970-267-5200 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Mountain Time, Monday through Friday. Orders may also be placed by mail, fax (970-223-0953), or by email. Online ordering is also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via this website. Orders must be placed using a Nordson MEDICAL part number. Products are shipped bulk, usually in quantities of 100, 500, or 1,000 pieces, as molded and non-sterile.
Wire transfers must be denominated in USD. Please contact orders@nordsonmedical.com for bank information to send wire transfer payments.
Nordson MEDICAL is certified compliant to ISO 13485. Copies of our certificates are available for download.
Many of our of our components are in stock. Parts that are not in stock at order placement usually have lead times somewhere between 2 and 4 weeks. You may contact the Inside Sales department at FMF-sales@nordsonmedical.com to verify the lead times of any specific parts.
We do not have authorized distributors in the US. All products may be purchased directly from Nordson MEDICAL. There are several companies who do resell our products. Please contact us for more information.
We do offer drop shipments in most cases. Please contact customer service at 970-267-5200 for more information.
No. We do not offer COD shipments. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept prepayment via check or wire transfer. You may also apply for net 30 terms.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, checks, and wire transfers drawn in US currency. Open account billing may be established upon completion of a Nordson MEDICAL Credit Agreement.
